A delicious soup mix containing green split peas, yellow split peas, rice, pearl barley, ABC pasta, and lentils. Just add your own seasoning, meat and vegetables to make it the way you like it best. Delicious hot soup for those cold winter days!
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 20+ years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
Directions: Rinse and sort 1 1/2 cups soup mix. Add to 2 quarts seasoned stock made from chicken, beef, ham or other meat. Chopped vegetables may be added if desired. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for about 90 minutes or until tender. Season as desired and serve.
Ingredients: Green split peas, yellow split peas, enriched rice [rice, niacin, iron (ferric orthophosphate), thiamine mononitrate], pearl barley, enriched macaroni product [flour, niacin, iron (ferrous sulfate), thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin], lentils.
