OurĀ potato butter bits are a great product to have on hand. TheseĀ potato butter bits have a buttery flavor to them. You can eat them plain or you can add a number of things to flavor them up a bit, such as sour cream, bacon, chives, and any other flavor that may strike your fancy. Potatoes are a great staple to have on hand and these are great to have on hand in case you are in a bind for time. They are quick to whip up and you have a great side dish or main course ready to go in minutes. This is a need for your long term food storage needs.
Packaging: This item is packed inside a Mylar bag and then that bag is put inside a 5-gallon pail. If your pail arrives "sucked in," this can be normal due to changes in elevation during transit. If this happens to your bucket simple open the seal to the lid to "reinflate" the pail, then put the lid back on. This will NOT shorten the shelf life of the product as it doesn't affect the Mylar bag and will still keep rodents out.
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 20 years.
Directions:Ā Mix 1/4 cup butter bit potatoes with 3/4-1 cup boiling water for every 1/2 cup serving. Promptly stir for 15-20 seconds to ensure even distribution. Allow to sit for 3-5 minutes and fluff with a fork. Serve as desired.Ā Ā Ā Ā
